Production method
We employ the vacuum press method for the production of sandwich panels: the layers in the sandwich panel are pressed together by applying a partial vacuum. The most important material in this process is the two-component PU adhesive, the quality of which is measured daily.
Before being pressed, the polyester sheeting, foam and wood are thoroughly prepared. The quality of these materials is also stringently monitored, as they largely determine the quality of the panel as a whole.
All sandwich panels are machined on the fully automatic, 12-shaft, CNC combined cutting and milling machine. The programs for this machine are prepared by the construction department with the utmost care, in order to guarantee the requested tolerances and the quality of the products.
Once the sandwich panels have been cut in the machining department, 85% of these products are transported to our customers in special vehicles. The remaining panels are turned into semi-finished or finished products by the skilled personnel in our assembly department. Because adhesive is one of the most important components here too, we make use of an adhesive chart, which contains guidelines for the processing of the materials under a variety of conditions.
